Welding Curtain
Welding produces more than hot spatter and sparks. Intense visible arc glare, ultraviolet radiation and infrared radiation can also affect people working nearby. Welding screens address both types of exposure: the physical barrier keeps flying sparks within the work area, while the curtain material absorbs or redirects harmful radiation.
A complete welding screen consists of a protective curtain mounted on a metal frame. Casters allow the frame to be moved around the work area, and the curtain may be made from PVC, canvas or full leather. Together, the frame and curtain form a barrier against arc light, heat and welding slag, helping establish a cleaner, safer and more standardized working environment while improving productivity.
Flame Retardant Vinyl Welding Screen/Curtain
The translucent PVC curtain contains UV and infrared absorbers that absorb or redirect intense arc light and harmful ultraviolet and infrared radiation generated during welding, allowing only softer, harmless visible light to pass through. This protects workers outside the screened welding area.
Flexible and tear-resistant, the PVC welding curtain can be positioned around the work area as needed, while the stable frame is easy to assemble and disassemble. Together they create a flame-resistant barrier that reduces arc glare and blocks welding slag, spatter and strong light radiation. Typical applications include partitioned workshop welding, automotive repair and structural steel work.

Canvas Welding Curtain
The canvas welding curtain uses thick flame-resistant canvas to create a flexible, durable barrier against heat, arc light, welding slag, spatter, smoke and dust. The fabric is abrasion-resistant and less likely to become damaged during normal use.
Mounted on a stable metal frame, the welding curtain is easy to assemble, move and reposition as the work area changes. This allows welding zones to be divided quickly and reduces the risk of arc light and sparks affecting nearby workers or equipment.
The canvas also blocks dust and light while remaining lightweight, durable and compact to store. It is suitable for workshop welding, automotive repair and structural steel welding on construction sites.
- Size: 1.74 × 1.74 m × 0.5 mm and 1.74 × 2.34 m × 0.5 mm
- Custom sizes: Available
- Care: Remove dust as needed and store in a cool place.
- Standard Packaging: 10 pcs/carton
- Monthly Production Capacity: 12,000 pcs
Leather Welding Curtain
For applications requiring a leather barrier, this welding curtain combines thick split cowhide with Kevlar flame-resistant stitching. The leather resists high temperatures and welding slag while providing heat insulation and resistance to abrasion.
The leather welding curtain can also be laid over the floor to isolate heat and protect workpieces and the floor from spark damage. Flexible and durable, the leather is resistant to burn-through and is suitable for arc welding, gas cutting, structural steel work and equipment maintenance.
- Care: Do not wash with water. Remove dust with a damp cloth and store in a cool, ventilated place.
- Standard Packaging: 10 pcs/carton
- Monthly Production Capacity: 12,000 pcs
The welding curtain frame is constructed using metal round tubing with inner diameter of 20mm, with a electroplated surface for corrosion resistance and structural stability. Built-in spring clips help secure the welding curtain and allow easy installation. Multiple welding screens can be connected for large welding work needs. Special steel rings are utilized at the joints, allowing the connected welding curtain to swivel 360°.
Each welding curtain is supported by a base made from 3×3cm square tube of 66cm in length. Plastic end caps help protect tube ends from causing damage. Removable casters allow for easy movement of the welding curtain. The welding curtain frame can also be used without casters when stable free-standing is required.
- Standard Sizes: 1.8m×1.8m, 1.8m×2.4m (customizable)
